ABOUT SENDERO HELICOPTERS

Sendero Helicopters LLC, based in Bandera Texas, is a wildlife helicopter services company providing services primarily in the Texas Hill Country and South Texas regions. Sendero also performs outside of Texas in some circumstances, such as state and government contracts, and has completed jobs in Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Louisiana. Sendero Helicopters is owned and operated by Chris Atkinson. Chris Atkinson is a commercial and instrument rated helicopter pilot. Mr. Atkinson is also a certified wildlife biologist and a graduate from Texas A&M University.

OPERATIONS

Sendero Helicopters operates multiple Robinson 44s. The R44s are used for game capture, game surveys, and cattle/game roundup and allow more than one passenger and can fly in higher altitude work, and is also used for larger and more demanding agricultural services.

​Sendero Helicopters provides a number of services including game/deer/animal capture, game/ranch surveys, game capture, livestock/game roundups, and wildlife biology services. Mr. Atkinson also runs and maintains SD Exotics, an exotic game breeding ranch. Exotic game sales, wildlife management, wildlife biology, and trap and transport services are also available.

Sendero Helicopters is fully licensed and operates under Federal Aviation Administration regulations and requirements. Sendero Helicopters maintains a large number of reputable clients, and can provide references upon request. All rotorcraft are maintained to the highest standards, in fact far beyond what the FAA requires. All helicopters are insured, and insurance and license documentation is available upon request.
